ADOS-2 Online Training - FEBRUARY 2025

ADOS-2 Training covers Modules 1-4, which allows for the assessment of individuals from as young as 31-months-old and through to adulthood, at all levels of language ability.

This online training is delivered through live trainer led sessions on:

Thursday 13 February 2025                9am - 5pm AWST

Friday 14 February 2025                     9am - 5pm AWST

Monday 24 February 2025                  Morning or afternoon session and

Tuesday 25 February 2025                 9am - 5pm AWST

Trainees should come away from the training confident to develop their fluency in the use of the ADOS-2 in their clinical setting.

• Introduction to the administration and coding of the ADOS-2 Modules 1-4.
• Opportunities to watch and code videoed administration of the ADOS Modules 1-4.
• Practical use of the ADOS with a volunteer and individual feedback.
• Discussion of the application and interpretation of the ADOS-2 and how it relates to autism diagnostic assessment.

Included in the cost of this training is 2 copies of ADOS-2 forms Module 1-4. These hardcopy forms will be sent directly to each participants upon completion of their payment and registration. The forms will be needed throughout the training days.Participants are required to provide a postal address at time of registration for the postage of the ADOS-2 forms.

To complete the course, partciipants must attend and participate in all the sessions and provide a at home assessment for feedback. If successful, trainees receive a certificate to confirm that they have completed ADOS-2 Module 1-4 Training.

The course is open to Speech Pathologists, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Psychiatrists and Paediatricians. Previous experience working with autistic individuals and their families is required.

By registering and purchasing this training course, you are agreeing to the following enrolment requirements:

• You have a qualification and professional registration with a peak body, as a Speech Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, Clinical Psychologist, Registered Psychologist, Psychiatrist or Pediatrician
• You have at least 3 years experience working with children and families with a diagnosis of Autism
• You will have at least one volunteer that you will be able to administer part of an ADOS-2 module. This must be completed and submitted prior to day 3 of your training. 
• You accept the registration cost of $2200 (including GST)

And finally you understand that training in the ADOS-2 assessment tool constitutes only one aspect of learning the skills to complete a Autism Diagnostic Assessment, and that further training, experience and supervision is required to ensure best practice.
